Back-to-Back MAC Champ Nettles Earns All-America Honors
June 17, 2026 | Track & Field
MUNCIE, Ind.— Kenli Nettles has another title to add to her already impressive collection after being named an All-American in the heptathlon.
The back-to-back Mid-American Conference heptathlon champion was named a second-team All-American this week after her efforts at the NCAA national championships where she finished 16th. Nettles was boosted by several personal records across the two days, including a new PR for total points scored with 5,703.
The award marks the first time that Nettles has been named an All-American. It also continues a five-year streak of at least one Ball State Track & Field athlete being named an All-American, a streak started by Charity Griffith in 2022 and carried on by Jenelle Rogers.
