2025-26 Indoor (R-Sr.): Competed in six meets … won MAC title in the pentathlon … posted a career best 8.59 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at MAC Indoor Championships … finished second in the 60-meter hurdles at the Badger Invite … placed third in the long jump in the Heartland Invitational.
2025 Outdoor (R-Sr.): Competed in nine meets and qualified for the heptathlon in the NCAA Outdoor Track Championship in Eugene, Oregon ... Nettles entered day two of the heptathlon finals in 22nd place out of 24, with 3,294 points ... unfortunately, she was unable to compete the final day, with concern of an Achilles injury moments before the day’s first event ... won MAC title in the heptathlon … made a career best in Javelin Throw at the Cherry Blossom Invite with a distance of 39.69m ... made five career bests at the MAC Outdoor Championship in the 100H, 200m, long jump, 800m, and the heptathlon … upon returning from NCAA Championships competition in Oregon, she was informed by Ball State coaches that she had been approved for a medical hardship in 2023-24, and granted a sixth year of competition.
2024-25 Indoor (R-Sr..): Re-united with Ball State coach Adrian Wheatley, whom she had known since her youth, and transferred to Ball State during the middle of the fall semester … competed in six meets ... place second at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic in high jump with a distance of 1.64m.
2023-24: Medically retired from competition after foot surgery, she graduated at Illinois and believed she would not compete again.
2023 Outdoor (R-So.): Placed second in the high jump with a personal-best height 1.75m (5-8 3/4) at the Fighting Illini Challenge … won the high jump at the Mt. SAC Relays, 1.70m (5-7).
2022-23 Indoor (R-So.): Ran a personal-best 60mH (8.96) at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational … placed 11th in the pentathlon on a personal-best point total (3,666) at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.
2022 Outdoor (R-Fr.): Finished fifth in the 100m H at the Illini Invite … personal-best and finished third in the 400mH (1:02.09) at the Illini Invite … Finished fourth in the HJ at the Illini Invite … personal-best and finished fourth in the javelin (31.98m) at the Illini Invite … personal-best and finished fourth in the Heptathlon (5,216) at the Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
2021-22 Indoor (R-Fr.): Won the pentathlon at the Illini Invite and Multi … personal-best in the 60mH (9.06) at the Music City Challenge … personal-best in the pentathlon (3,446) at the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships.
2020-21 (Fr.): Attended the University of Iowa … did not compete due to injury.
High School: Won state titles in 100-meter hurdles (14.29), 300-meter hurdles (43.68) and high jump (5-7) junior year… nine-time conference champion, helping team to 2019 conference title… 10-time all-state, three-time first-team all-conference, News Gazette first-team all-area, and JC-TC Athlete of the Week, two-time Herald & Review and JC-TC female track & field Athlete of the Year, and WCIA Athlete of the Week… set school records in high jump (5-8), triple jump (35-9), 60-meter hurdles (8.90), 100-meter hurdles (14.23), 200 meters (25.39), and 300-meter hurdles (43.68)… placed sixth in heptathlon (4,510 points) and fifth in 400-meter hurdles (1:01.73) at 2019 USATF Hershey Junior Olympic Championships… two-time team MVP… coached by Marques Lowe and Michaela Ponstein… also participated in basketball, volleyball and cheerleading… four-year high honor roll student.
Returning for her second year at Ball State following an arduous journey through injuries at Iowa and Illinois, Nettles is a graduate student with eyes on returning to the NCAA Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, again … her competition in 2025 was cut short due to injury precaution after completing the heptathlon’s first four events on day one NCAA heptathlon finals … already granted a sixty year of competition, coaches cautioned her from further injury, though she was unaware of the hardship exception at the time … she was informed that she’d been granted a sixth year of eligibility during her airport travel back from Eugene … Nettles enters the 2025-26 season as a MAC favorite in both the indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon … her MAC title in the 2025 heptathlon was Ball State’s ninth consecutive combined-event league title (pentathlon and heptathlon).
2026 Outdoor (R-Sr.): Competed in six meets … successfully defended MAC title in the heptathlon, where she finished top two in six of the seven events … posted two career bests in the 200 meters (24.43 seconds) and the shot put (12.47m) during the heptathlon at the MAC Outdoor Championships … placed third in the 400-meter hurdles at the MAC Outdoor Championships … posted a career-best distance of 40.10 meters in the javelin at the We Fly Challenge … won the 400-meter hurdles at the We Fly Challenge … finished second in the heptathlon at the Jim Freeman / Clark Wood Open with PRs in long jump (6.02m) and 100-meter hurdles (13.81 seconds) … finished second in the high jump at the Big Blue Classic. 2025-26 Indoor (R-Sr.): Competed in six meets … won MAC title in the pentathlon … posted a career best 8.59 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles at MAC Indoor Championships … finished second in the 60-meter hurdles at the Badger Invite … placed third in the long jump in the Heartland Invitational.
