January 15, 2026 | Men's Swimming and Diving
MUNCIE, Ind. – After nearly a two-month break, the Ball State men's swimming and diving program enters the second half of its 2025-26 season Jan. 16 with a trip to Oxford, Ohio to battle defending conference champion Miami (OH). Competition inside the Corwin M. Nixon Aquatic Center is slated to begin at 2 p.m. ET.
The men's squad last saw action at House of Champions (Nov. 20-22), placing third out of the field of 11 teams. Freshman George Patterson began the three-day event with a program record in the 500 freestyle (4:27.13), placing fourth. On day two, Patterson set a program-best time in the 200 freestyle during prelims (1:36.97) only to break it again as he topped the final with a time of 1:35.98. The weekend concluded as Patterson joined AJ Friend, William Raches and Jacob Siewers to place first in the 400 freestyle relay (2:56.24), setting a program record.
