CHARLESTON, Ill. – Seniors Addie Chester, Tori Monaco and Emily Roper put on a scoring clinic as the Ball State soccer team enjoyed a 4-0 win over Eastern Illinois, giving first-year head coach Andy Stoots his first win with the program.
The Cardinals (1-2) brought a barrage late in the second half against the Panthers (1-3) with two goals in the 81st and 85th minutes by Roper and Chester. 20 minutes earlier in the contest, Monaco scored one high left in the 65th minute off a corner kick assist from freshman Jess Fernau.
Including Chester's first goal 25 minutes into the match, all three seniors moved up to the No. 14 spot in the Ball State record book with 12 career goals.

For the second-straight contest, redshirt sophomore defender Delaney Ahearn played a full 90 minutes. Junior defender Audrey Goodyear also stayed in up until the 90-minute mark.
The Cardinals bested Eastern Illinois in corners (9-3) and shots (10-4), while the Panthers led in saves (6-4).
