Baseball Honored with ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

Cardinals 1 of 5 Programs to be Recognized with Award in 10 Straight Seasons
The Ball State baseball program has been honored with the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award by the American Baseball Coaches Association for the 2024-25 school year.
Programs must achieve at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2024-25 academic year to be eligible for the distinction.
The Cardinals have now won the award in 10 straight seasons, with the team being 1 of 5 NCAA Division I programs to do so including East Carolina, Oregon State, St. John's and UAB.
The academic recognition is the latest of multiple in the weeks following the 2025 season in addition to 10 Academic All-MAC Team selections, five CSC Academic All-District Team selections and junior Dylan Grego being named Third Team Academic All-America by the CSC.
