Soccer Unveils 2025 Regular Season Schedule
June 04, 2025 | Soccer
The Ball State women's soccer team and head coach Andy Stoots have announced their 2025 regular season schedule.
The slate consists of 12 Mid-American Conference matches, including at new league member UMass to begin conference play on Sept. 14, after a six-contest nonconference schedule.
Ball State hosts Wright State (Aug. 10) and Holy Cross (Aug. 14) in exhibitions to ramp up for the regular season opener on Aug. 17 vs Purdue at the Briner Sports Complex in Muncie. The Cardinals will hit the road after that for matches at Indiana (Aug. 21), Eastern Illinois (Aug. 24) and IU Indy (Aug. 31) to wrap up the first month of the season.
The month of September starts with a home game against Butler on the seventh, with the next match at Purdue Fort Wayne on Sept. 10 concluding the nonconference portion of the schedule.
After the MAC opener at UMass, Ball State hosts Central Michigan (Sept. 18) and Kent State (Sept. 21) in the first pair of conference home games. The soccer team ends the month and begins October on the road with matches at Buffalo (Sept. 25) and Ohio (Oct. 2).
Reigning MAC champion Western Michigan comes to town for an Oct. 5 showdown before Ball State travels to Ypsilanti to face Eastern Michigan on Oct. 9. The Cardinals next welcome Akron (Oct. 12) and Toledo (Oct. 16) for back-to-back matches. The regular season concludes with a home match vs Miami (OH) on Oct. 26 sandwiched around roadtrips to Bowling Green (Oct. 19) and Northern Illinois (Oct. 29).
Stoots enters his first year as a head coach after recent stints as an assistant for the Missouri and Louisville women's soccer programs.
"We are excited about this coming Fall season," said Stoots. "We have a great schedule and can't wait for the players to arrive and begin our journey."
