Brown & Malykh Receive All-MAC Second Team Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Graduate senior Chloe Brown and senior Elena Malykh of the Ball State women's tennis team have been tabbed to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team which was announced by the league office this morning. This is the first postseason honor for both Brown and Malykh.
Brown transferred to Ball State this season after playing four years at Rutgers. Brown ended her season with an 11-8 singles mark while going 5-5 in MAC play. She saw action at the No. 3 and No. 4 singles positions. She also found success in doubles competition with an 8-5 ledger and a 4-2 league ledger playing mainly on the top court alongside partner Alana Bristow.
Malykh, has been in the lineup in both singles and doubles throughout her four-year career at Ball State. Malykh, was a part of two MAC Tournament and NCAA squads over her tenure as a Cardinal. This season she played at No. 1 singles for Ball State and No. 3 doubles.
