Driscoll Heading To NCAA Lexington Regional
April 23, 2025 | Women's Golf
MUNCIE, Ind. - - After earning medalist honors at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships, junior Jasmine Driscoll learned her NCAA Regional fate Wednesday (April 23) afternoon with the NCAA Selection Show on the Golf Network.
Â
The MAC individual champion will continue her season May 5-7 on the Champion Trace at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky, in the NCAA Lexington Regional.
Â
Driscoll is set to become only the third player in program history to compete in NCAA Regional competition, joining Brittany Kelly in 2011 and Jenna Hague in 2014.
Â
Just the third MAC medalist in program history, Driscoll started her championship run with a career-low score of -5 (67) on Eastern Sunday. The effort tied as the lowest opening round in a MAC Women's Golf Championship in league history and ties as the second-lowest round relative to par in program history.
Â
Driscoll would follow with a +5 (77) in Monday's blustery second round, while closing the tournament with a +2 (74) to seal the individual title by one stroke at +2 (218). The effort, which also earned her MAC All-Tournament Team honors, is the lowest three-round total in a MAC Women's Golf Championship in program history.
Â
In addition to her solid performance in her latest outing, Driscoll has played phenomenal golf all season for the Cardinals and leads the squad with a 75.00 stroke average. She has played nine rounds at-or-below par this season and earned medalist honors at the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic (Sept. 16-17).
Â
Driscoll was named the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her play at the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic in which she won by five strokes: the largest margin of victory in the three-year history of the event. After shooting E (72) in the opening round, Driscoll tied the then-lowest round of her collegiate career at -4 (68) in the second. She closed the event with a -1 (71), with her 54-hole final score of -5 (211) being the best of her collegiate career.
Â
In addition to her 2024-25 season accolades, Driscoll is currently the program's career scoring leader with a 75.93 career stroke average. She has played 17 collegiate rounds at-or-below par and owns four career top five finishes including her pair of event wins this season.
