Elena Malykh Garners Women's Tennis MAC Singles Player of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Senior Elena Malykh of the Ball State women's tennis team has earned Mid-American Conference Singles Player of the Week honors for the second time in her career.Â
Malykh played one of her most flawless matches of the season as the senior earned an impressive win over the Broncos No. 1 player Lola Glantz. Malykh, which helped propel the Cardinals to a 6-1 team victory with her straight set take down over Glantz winning the match, 6-1, 6-2.Â
The Ball State women's tennis team continues league play when it hosts Northern Illinois Friday at 1 pm ET in Muncie at either the Foster Adams Family Tennis Complex and Bill Richards Tennis Courts (outdoors) or the Ball State Tennis Facility (indoors).
