Softball Cancels Tuesday’s Home Opener vs. Purdue Fort Wayne

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Ball State softball's home opener versus Purdue Fort Wayne scheduled for Tuesday (March 11) has been canceled due to unplayable field conditions at the Ball State Softball Stadium.
After a 5-0 weekend at the Bellarmine Invitational, the Cardinals are scheduled to return to action Friday when it opens league play with a 3 p.m. first pitch at Akron. The two teams are also slated to play a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday.
