Salenbien Garners MAC Player of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Senior transfer Bree Salenbien has been tabbed the Mid-American Conference Player of the Week. Salenbien garners the first league weekly honor for the 2025-26 season.
Salenbien helped Ball State post a 2-0 record last week against Arkansas State and IU Indy.
The senior transfer averaged a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds per contest. The weekend was highlighted by her double-double on Sunday against the Jaguars with a career best 20 points and 12 rebounds.
She also chipped in eight points, 12 rebounds at Arkansas State in Ball State's season opener.
Salenbien's performances allowed the Cardinals to open their season 2-0. Salenbien was practically perfect from the charity stripe as well shooting 90 percent from the free throw line (9-10).
After two games, Salenbien currently ranks 21st in the nation in rebounds per contest (12.0).
The Ball State women's basketball team will host Northern Kentucky on Wednesday for its home opener at 6:30 pm ET Worthen Arena.
