
Ball State Track and Field Ready for Hoosier Horsepower Classic

MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State track and field will head to Indianapolis, Indiana Saturday (Jan. 18) morning for the Hoosier Horsepower Classic. Events will start at 10:30 a.m. on the field with the weight throw. Â

Last weekend, the Cardinals competed at the Badgers Midwest Invitational in Chicago, Illinois. There were a handful of personal bests and top finishes to celebrate, specifically Jenna Oriani's record-breaking finish in the 300-meter dash. Oriani crossed the finish line with a time of 39.28, breaking her previous record of 39.48 and winning the event. Jenelle Rogers also had a successful meet, winning the long jump with a mark of 6.04 meters and the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.69. Â

Following the Hoosier Horsepower Classic, the Cardinals will prepare for the Bellarmine Open on Saturday, Jan. 18 in Louisville, Kentucky. Â
