Swimming & Diving Places Eight On CSC Academic All-District List

INDIANAPOLIS - - Eight members of the Ball State swimming & diving program were named to 2023-24 Academic All-District teams as selected by College Sports Communicators.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's meets.

On the men's side, graduate student Noah Berryman, graduate student Bryce Handshoe, junior Ethan Pheifer and sophomore Jacob Siewers were all named to the 2023-24 Academic All-District Men's Swimming & Diving Team.

On the women's side, senior Marcella Ribeiro, senior Laura Wright, sophomore Payton Kelly and sophomore Callie Tuma were named to the 2023-24 Academic All-District Women's Swimming & Diving Team.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced April 23 (women) and April 24 (men).
