Women’s Basketball Signs Michigan Transfer Elise Stuck
April 19, 2024 | Women's Basketball
MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State women's basketball head coach Brady Sallee has announced the signing of Big Ten foe Michigan transfer Elise Stuck (Charlevoix, Mich./Charlevoix) to the 2024-25 Cardinal roster.
"We are thrilled to welcome Elise Stuck to our program," Sallee said. "We've watched Elise compete since early in her high school years and to be able to add someone with her talent level, length and size is exactly what we needed. We targeted one player and one player only for this spot and Elise was the one. Her impact will be big."
The 6-1 guard-forward has one year of eligibility remaining after spending four seasons with the Wolverines. Stuck, a four-year letter winner with Michigan, played in 102 games for her career.
Stuck turned in one of her best performances against nationally ranked Iowa on two separate occasions this season after dishing out four assists on March 9 while scoring four points and pulling down three rebounds on Feb. 15, against the Hawkeyes.
Stuck's junior season she turned in a career best 11 points off 5-of-5 shooting in 18 minutes against Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament on March 2, 2023. She also tallied a career high in rebounds that same season with nine against Air Force on Nov. 25, 2023.
Not only was Stuck valuable to the Wolverines over her tenure on the court but she also excelled off the court after being named to the Academic All-Big Ten squad three years in a row.
Stuck helped the Wolverines to four-straight NCAA Tournament appearances including a historic run to the Elite Eight in 2022.
Stuck joins Ball State early signees Grace Kingery (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North Ridgeville) and Zuri Ransom (Evanston, Ill./Evanston) for the 2024-25 season.
