Spletzer Had an Impressive 10k Debut at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Two distance runners represented Ball State at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday, March 29.
Sarah Mahnensmith competed in the 5,000m run and Carly Spletzer competed in the 10,000m run, the first of her collegiate career.
Mahnensmith had a strong race, finishing the 5k with a new outdoor personal best time of 17:06.48.
In her 10k debut, Spletzer ran very well, finishing with a time of 35:53.98. She led her pack for most of the race, running a very competitive event.
Ball State track and field will be back in action April 4 and 5 for the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville, Tennessee.
