Spletzer Had an Impressive 10k Debut at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Two distance runners represented Ball State at the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday, March 29. Â
Sarah Mahnensmith competed in the 5,000m run and Carly Spletzer competed in the 10,000m run, the first of her collegiate career. Â
Mahnensmith had a strong race, finishing the 5k with a new outdoor personal best time of 17:06.48. Â
In her 10k debut, Spletzer ran very well, finishing with a time of 35:53.98. She led her pack for most of the race, running a very competitive event. Â
Ball State track and field will be back in action April 4 and 5 for the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville, Tennessee. Â
