Herran & Smith Earn MAC Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Ball State men's tennis duo of Eli Herran and Sajin Smith earned their first Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the Week honors after the duo's performance at Big Ten foe Michigan State last Friday.Â
The No. 3 doubles tandem of Herran and Smith knotted the doubles play at 1-1 against the Spartans with their 6-3 defeat over Michigan State's Josh Portnoy and Reed Crocker. The twosome jumped out to a strong lead over Portnoy and Crocker and were able to hold on for a victory.
The Ball State men's tennis team returns home Saturday for a 1 pm ET first serve Cleveland State at the Northwest YMCA Tennis Center.
