Swim & Dive Programs Earn CSCAA Scholar All-America Status

RICHMOND, Va. - - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced the Ball State University men's and women's swimming & diving programs have earned Scholar All-America honors for their efforts in the classroom during the 2023 fall semester. Â

The men's squad finished the term with a 3.40 GPA among 28 countable student-athletes, while the women's squad earned a 3.51 GPA among 30 countable student-athletes.
The Ball State women's program has earned the honor for 26 consecutive semesters and in 27 of the 28 total semesters currently on record. The men's team has earned the honor in eight straight semesters and 23 total times.
To be eligible for the award, teams must have a GPA of at least 3.0 for the semester. A total of 783 programs from 461 institutions across the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA and NJCAA levels were honored with the award for the fall of 2023. The teams honored represent a total of 18,716 student-athletes.
