Ball State Baseball Prospect Camps: Hitting, Pitching and Defensive Skills for HS, JUCO and Transfer Athletes

Baseball athletes currently in high school, junior college or at a four-year institution can take advantage of training and evaluation opportunities with Rich Maloney and the Ball State baseball staff by enrolling in prospect camps offered on August 27 at the Ball State baseball facility.

Athletes will engage in hitting, fielding and pitching drill work, and have skill evaluations from some of the Midwest's top baseball minds.

"This is a great opportunity for aspiring baseball players to be seen and evaluated by our coaching staff," said Maloney, who saw three Cardinals drafted in the 2023 MLB Draft, and another sign a professional free agent contract. "Several of our current players will assist with instruction. Hope you will consider joining us!"

Maloney, the winningest coach in school history and one of the NCAA's top active coaches in terms of career wins, guided the Cardinals to the 2023 Mid-American Conference championship and a berth in the 2023 NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Cardinals have posted at least 30 wins during 17 seasons with Maloney at the helm.
