Men's Golf Finishes Round One of Boilermaker Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Ball State men's golf team finished round one of the Boilermaker Invitational today tied for tenth place.

Leading the Cardinals is Griffin Hare, ending the round at 1-under (70) and tallying five birdies on the day. He heads into rounds two and three tomorrow tied for 13th place.

Carter Smith finished at 3-over (74) and is tied for 41st  place after day one of the Boilermaker Invitational, recording three birdies.

Kash Bellar finished at 5-over (76) and is tied for 58th after round one of play. Joey Ranieri and Ali Khan are each tied for 62nd after round one, finishing at 6-over today (77).
Evan Bone, who competed as an individual, finished round one at 6-over (77) and is also tied for 62nd place heading into rounds two and three tomorrow.

The Cardinals will be paired with Butler and Southern Illinois for rounds two and three beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST with a shotgun start. They will start on holes 11, 12A, 12B, 13 and 14.
