Men's Golf Returns to Action for Don Benbow Butler Invite

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Ball State men's golf team will compete in the Don Benbow Butler Invitational at the Highland Golf and Country Club on March 27-28.
The Cardinals head into their third tournament of the 2023 season after competing against several top-10 programs and finishing ninth at the Dorado Beach Collegiate on Feb. 26-28. The Cardinals tallied their first tournament win of the 2023 season at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play on Feb. 6 and Feb.7.
Representing Ball State are Kash Bellar, Joey Ranieri, Ali Khan, Carter Smith, and Griffin Hare. Carson Orr, Evan Bone, Drew Todd and Colin Nasser will play as individuals.
Ball State will be one of 13 teams competing at the Butler Invitational. The tournament includes 54 holes and begins on Monday, March 27 at 9:00 a.m. EST with a shotgun start. The Cardinals will play 36 holes on Monday in continuous play.
Ball State will be paired with Butler, Cleveland State and IUPUI for rounds one and two. They will start on holes 1, 2, 3A, 3B, and 4.
Round three begins on Tuesday, March. 28 at 9:00 a.m. EST with a shotgun start.
