Kash Bellar Named Men's Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Sophomore Kash Bellar received Men's Golfer of the Week Honors after his stand-out performance at the Dorado Beach Collegiate.

The Peru, Indiana native led the Ball State Cardinals throughout the Dorado Beach Collegiate. He carded 16 birdies and two eagles in 54 holes, and seven of those birdies were tallied in the final round. Bellar finished at 4-under in round one (68), 3-under in round two (69), and 5-under in round three (67), totaling 204. Bellar's 54-hole final tally of 204 is the second-best mark in Ball State program history. Bellar finished tied for fourth place out of 91 players from competitive programs, including matchups against #2 Auburn and #10 Virginia.

Bellar and the Cardinals are back in action on March 27-28 at the Butler Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana.
