Women's S&D Splits For Pair Of Weekend Meets

MUNCIE, Ind. - - It will be a split weekend for the Ball State women's swimming & diving program with a pair of divers heading to the Miami Classic (Feb. 10-11) and select swimmers heading to the Ohio State Winter Invitational (Feb. 10-12).

With just under two weeks until the Mid-American Conference Championships (Feb. 22-25) hosted the Miami Aquatic Center, the Cardinals divers will look for one more opportunity to tune-up for the event at the host site.

In the pool, sophomore Neely Agnew will represent Ball State over the three-day event at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
Maddy Hischer
- Was named the MAC Women's Diver of the Week on Feb. 1 after picking up three event wins in two days.
- Owns four total diving wins on the year
- Turned in season-best scores of 307.20 on the 3M board and 279.68 on the 1M board to sweep the competition in the diving dual versus Anderson (Jan. 28), both of which were NCAA Zone Diving qualifying scores

Ashleigh Provan
- Has three total diving wins on the season
- Turned in a season-best 3M score of 301.95 in the diving dual versus Anderson (Jan. 28), which is an NCAA Zone Diving mark
- Registered a season-best 1M score of 274.73 in the home dual versus Miami (Jan. 21), which is also an NCAA Zone Diving qualifying score

- Swam a season-best 100 breaststroke of 1:09.93 at the Miami Invitational (Dec. 2)
- Her season-best 200 breaststroke time of 2:35.78 came in the dual versus IUPUI (Nov. 11)
