Swimming & Diving Places Eight On CSC Academic All-District List

INDIANAPOLIS - - Eight members of the Ball State swimming & diving program were named to 2022-23 Academic All-District teams as selected by College Sports Communicators.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and have competed in at least 50 percent of their team's meets.

On the men's side, seniors Noah Berryman, Bryce Handshoe, Zachary Moody, and Jack Wolfred were all named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Men's Swimming & Diving Team.

On the women's side, Hannah Jones, Phoebe Rensink, Marcella Ribeiro, and Apsara Sakbun were named to the 2022-23 Academic All-District Women's Swimming & Diving Team.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in late March.
