Men's Golf Completes Round One of Dorado Beach Collegiate

DORADO, PUERTO RICO – The Ball State men's golf team finished round one of the Dorado Beach Collegiate today tied for sixth after some solid individual performances.Â
The Cardinals are currently tied with No. 2 Auburn and Boston College, and will be paired with them and fifth-place West Virginia for another competitive matchup in round two.
Kash Bellar currently leads the Cardinals, finishing round one tied for sixth at 4-under (68). Bellar carded five birdies and an eagle on the par-5, 525-yard hole No. 6.Â
Carter Smith is tied for 27th at 1-under (71), recording four birdies. Ali Khan ended round one tied for 39th (72), while Joey Ranieri and Griffin Hare are tied for 59th at 2-over (74). Â
The Cardinals begin round two of the Dorado Beach Collegiate tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. EST on holes 4-8. Live stats can be found here.Â
