Men's Golf Set to Compete at Dorado Beach Collegiate

DORADO, PUERTO RICO – The Ball State men's golf team travels to Puerto Rico to compete at TCP Sugarcane Course at the Dorado Beach Collegiate hosted by UNCG on Feb.26 – Feb.28.
The Cardinals look to bring back another tournament win after notching their first tournament win of 2023 at the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play on Feb. 6 and Feb.7. The team finished third at last year's Dorado Beach Collegiate.
The competition at the Dorado Beach Collegiate includes #2 Auburn, #10 Virginia and top-40 teams Duke (#32) and Cincinnati (#37), according to GolfStat rankings.
Representing Ball State are Joey Ranieri, Carter Smith, Kash Bellar, Ali Khan and Griffin Hare. Colin Nasser is playing as an individual.
The action begins on Sunday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 a.m. EST with a shotgun start. The Cardinals will start on holes 4-8, and will be paired with Cincinnati, Virginia and Augusta for round one.
Round two begins on Monday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 a.m. EST and the final round will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7:00 a.m. EST. Each round will be a shotgun start, and the Cardinals will play 18 holes each day.
