Field Hockey Places 14 on Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference announced Monday afternoon the 2023 Field Hockey Academic All-MAC Team. A total of 91 student-athletes were named to this year's squad.

Ball State and Kent State led the way with 14 student-athletes on this year's team. Miami had 13 honorees, while Bellarmine had 12 and App State, Central Michigan, and Ohio had 10 student-athletes represented.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
