Cross Country Ready to Compete at MAC Championship

BOWLING GREEN, Oh. – Cross country will head to Bowling Green, Ohio on Saturday for the Mid-American Conference Championship meet. The women's 6k race is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. ET.Â
Ball State competed on Bowling Green's Mel Brodt Cross Country Course earlier this season when the team attended the Mel Brodt Collegiate Open. Multiple Cardinals found success on the course and ran a personal best.Â
"Everything we do is a dress rehearsal for the big show. This is the big show this weekend. I'm really excited to see our ladies compete," said head coach Adrian Wheatley.Â
The Cardinals are hoping to improve on their efforts from last year after finishing ninth in the MAC.Â
Ball State recently finished its regular season at the Bradley Pink Classic (Oct. 13) in Peoria, Illinois.Â
