Cardinals take flight at Live in Lou Classic

Ball State returns to the course for 5k run
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State cross country team is set to take on its next challenge of the 2022 season when it travels to Louisville, Ky. for the 21st Annual Live in Lou Cross Country Classic Sat., Oct. 1. The 5k meet will be contested at E.P "Tom" Sawyer State Park, home of the 2012, 2015 and 2017 NCAA DI National Championships.
The Cardinals are slated to take part in the 5k blue race, beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET.
Ball State is joined on the course by 45 other teams, including DI programs Kent State, Longwood, Mercer, Mississippi State, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Purdue Fort Wayne, South Carolina, Tennessee Tech, Tennessee-Martin, UNC Asheville, Western Kentucky, Wright State and Xavier.
After running 4k and 6k races to begin the season, the Cardinals will take part in their first 5k of the campaign.
