Parrott Named MAC Golfer of the Week

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its weekly Golfer of the Week honors on Wednesday. After a historic performance at the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic, Kiah Parrott was named Co-Golfer of the Week.
Parrott started the Brittany Kelly Cardinal Classic with an opening round of 67 (-5) is the second-lowest score in Cardinal history. She produced a second-round mark of 68 (-4). Her two-round total of 135 (-9) is the best two-round score in BSU history. Parrott became the first golfer since Sydney Anderson in 2017 to win an individual title. She collected her first tournament victory in her first appearance in a home tournament. She recorded a 72 (E) for the final round with two birdies on the day. She led the field with 14 birdies for the tournament. Her three-round mark of 207 (-9) set a new Ball State record for a 54-hole score, which she bested by seven strokes.
"Kiah is more than deserving of this honor after her record-breaking performance this week," said Head Coach Cameron Andry. "I'm excited to see where she will take her game moving forward!"
Ball State takes a week off before it heads to Indianapolis for the Butler Fall Invitational on the Highland Golf and Country Club on Monday.
