Ranieri, Khan lead Cardinals after two rounds at Bearcat Invitational

Ball State tied for seventh after 36 holes of play in Cincinnati
CINCINNATI, Ohio – Ball State's Joey Ranieri and Ali Khan guided the Cardinals in the opening two rounds of the Bearcat Invitational Monday. Ranieri is tied for fifth at 3-under (66-73--139), while Khan is tied for 13th at 1-under (68-73--141).
The duo combined for 14 birdies with nine coming on the front nine. Ranieri also added eagle on the par-5 No. 4 hole during a spotless first round.
Griffin Hare is tied for 52nd at 6-over (72-76--148) after producing a clean front nine in both rounds that included four birdies.
Kash Bellar and Joey Wiseman rounded out the lineup and are tied for 62nd at 8-over (79-71--150) and 11-over (75-78--153), respectively.
As a team, Ball State is tied for seventh with Kentucky at 6-over (281-293--574).
The Cardinals close out play Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET.
