Ball State completes run at Spartan Invite

Cardinals run first 6k meet of the season
LANSING, Mich. – After running a 4k race to begin the season, the Ball State cross country team completed its first 6k trek Friday at the Spartan Invite.
The Cardinals were once again paced by Sarah Mahnensmith, who finished 43rd with a time of 23:08.49.
Juliana Stogsdill and Vivian Van Eck were the next Ball State runners to cross the line in 61st and 70th, respectively. Stogsdill finished with a time of 23:37.46, while Van Eck ended in 23:57.23.
Competing in her second collegiate meet, Autumn Spence placed 92nd with a time of 24:50.10.
Grace Dean rounding out the scoring with a time of 25:37.56 and finished 112th.
The Cardinals return to Muncie for a couple of weeks before taking part in the Live in Lou Classic Oct. 1 in Louisville, Ky.
