Ball State travels to Michigan State for Spartan Invite

Cardinals set to make second run of the season Friday morning
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State cross country team is set to travel to East Lansing, Mich. for the Spartan Invite Friday. The 6k race is slated to begin at 11 a.m. ET at Forest Akers East Golf Course.
The Cardinals will be joined on the course by host Michigan State in addition to Case Western Reserve, Cincinnati, Cornerstone, Defiance, Ferris State, Grace, Grand Valley State, Johns Hopkins, Kalamazoo, Kent State, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Saginaw Valley State, SUNY Geneseo, Valparaiso and Western Michigan.
Ball State recently wrapped up its first race of the season at the Vic Godfrey Open in which its top-four finishers - all of which finished inside the top 20 – were within 35 seconds of each other.
Following the Spartan Invite, the Cardinals head to Louisville, Ky. for the Live in Lou Classic, Oct. 1.
