
Ranieri, Wiseman selected Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars

Duo earns honor for work on the course and in the classroom
NORMAN, Okla. – Ball State's Joey Ranieri and Joey Wiseman were named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
Ranieri touts a 3.532 cumulative GPA while working towards a degree in marketing. The Zionsville, Ohio, carded a team-best average round of 72.64 while racking up four top-10 finishes, including two inside the top five.
Wiseman progressed towards a degree in communication studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.431. The Corydon, Ind. native played in 10 events and boasted a 74.66 average strokes per round. Wiseman had nine rounds at par or better during his junior season.
