Ball State Lands Four on Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference announced its annual Academic All-MAC team on Thursday. Dylann Armstrong, Liz Kim, Hadley Moritz, and Tiegan Taylor represented the Ball State women's golf team.
Kim collected her third Academic All-MAC honor. Moritz and Taylor each received their second career accolade, while Armstrong collected her first honor. Kim recorded a 3.94 GPA in the pursuit of a Master of Sport and Exercise Psychology. Armstrong posted a 3.97 GPA as she worked toward a degree in criminal justice and criminology. Moritz also achieved a 3.97 GPA on her way to an elementary education degree. Taylor produced a 3.90 GPA in the pursuit of a degree in exercise science.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must own a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and participate in at least 50 percent of their team's events. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
