Men’s Tennis Wraps Up MAC Regular Season At Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Ball State men's tennis team (10-10, 5-5 MAC) dropped its final Mid-American Conference regular season match by a score of 4-3 against Buffalo (5-13, 4-6) Sunday afternoon.
The Cardinals fell behind early in the match as the Bulls took a 1-0 edge after taking the doubles point from Ball State.
Ball State would win on courts two, four and six but it wasn't enough to get the job done as Buffalo managed victories on the remaining three singles positions to take today's match from the Cardinals.
Danilo Kovacevic won his second-straight league match after a straight set defeat against the Bulls Finn Macnamara, 6-4, 7-6 at position two.
Petar Petrovic extended his win to three as he managed to beat Buffalo's No. 6 singles player You-Shiang Huang, 6-4, 6-1.
Vince Orlando took down his opponent in another three-set thriller at the No. 4 slot.
The Ball State men's tennis will be the No. 3 seed in next weekend's Mid-American Conference Tournament and will face the No. 2 seed Toledo Rockets on Saturday, April 23 at 2 pm ET in Kalamazoo, Mich.
