Kim Tied for 19th, Ball State Placed 11th at Spring Break Shootout

DADE CITY, Fla. – The Ball State women's golf team finished the final round of the Spring Break Shootout from the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club on Tuesday. The Cardinals wrapped up the tournament in 11th place, while Liz Kim tied for 19th on the individual leaderboard.
Kim posted a final-round score of 75 (+4) with two birdies. She closed out the final round with back-to-back birdies on the final two holes. Kim posted a three-round mark of 221 (+8) which earned her a top-20 finish as she tied for 19th. Her seven birdies were tied for 15th in the 84-player field and tied for the team lead as well.
Hadley Moritz moved up seven spots on the leaderboard into a tie for 34th after a final-round mark of 74 (+3). She tallied three birdies in the final 18 and posted seven birdies for the tournament. Her seven birdies were tied for 15th in the 84-player field and tied for the team lead. She compiled a three-round total of 226 (+13).
Kiah Parrott produced a final-round tally of 74 (+3) with a birdie on the par-4 15th. She moved up four spots into a tie for 41st with a tournament score of 227 (+14). Parrott recorded 39 pars across the three rounds, which was tied for the second most in the 84-player field.
Morgan Lewis notched a round of 75 (+4) for the final 18 holes. She picked up two birdies in the third round and finished with three for the tournament. She collected 34 pars across the three rounds. She rocketed up eight spots in the final standings into a tie for 60th.
Dylann Armstrong finished tied for 75th with three birdies across the three rounds.
The Cardinals will be back on the course for the Diane Daugherty Invite from the Bogey Hills Country Club on Monday, March 28.
