Kim Leads Cardinals After Day One of Spring Break Shootout

DADE CITY, Fla. – The Ball State women's golf team was back on the course on Monday for rounds one and two of the Spring Break Shootout on the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. Liz Kim led the Cardinals and is tied for 13th.
Kim started the day with a round of 71 (E). She notched four birdies in the first round and was tied for seventh. In the second round of the day, she posted a 75 (+4) with one birdie. She is tied for 13th with a two-round mark of 146 (+4).
Hadley Moritz started the shootout with three birdies and a mark of 70 (-1). She was tied for fifth after round one. She is tied for 41st at the conclusion of the second round with a combined score of 152 (+10). She collected four birdies across the two rounds.
Kiah Parrott posted a round of 77 (+6) and a round of 76 (+5) and is tied for 45th with a combined total of 153 (+11). She has one birdie for the tournament.
Dylann Armstrong is tied for 56th after she shot a second-round score of 74 (+3). She posted three birdies on the day and had a combined score of 155 (+13).
Morgan Lewis is tied for 68th with a two-round total of 158 (+16). She produced a birdie in round two on her way to a score of 77 (+6).
The Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club is a par-71, 6,056-yard course.
