Pfister Earns Second MAC Specilaist of the Week Honor

CLEVELAND, Ohio - - After scoring a 9.950 to win vault in the regular season finale at Central Michigan, sophomore Suki Pfister has been named the Mid-American Conference Gymnastics Specialist of the Week.

A two-time specialist of the week this season, Pfister became only the fifth gymnast in program history to register a routine of 9.950-or-higher. In fact, it was just the fifth vault and 11th overall routine in program history to score that high.

Overall, Pfister has landed four vault routines of at least 9.900 this season, which is the most of any gymnast in the MAC on the apparatus. Her 9.950 is also the best vault routine in the MAC so far this season.

Pfister enters Saturday's MAC Gymnastics Championships ranked first in the MAC and tied for 25th nationally with a NQS of 9.895 on vault.
