Pfister Named MAC Gymnastics Specialist of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - - After turning in the best vault performance in the Mid-American Conference so far this season, Ball State sophomore Suki Pfister has been named the MAC Gymnastics Specialist of the Week.

In helping guide the Cardinals to a pair of wins over Central Michigan and Illinois State in last Sunday's home tri-meet, Pfister landed a career-best vault of 9.925.

It ties as the fifth-best individual vault effort in program history and is her second mark of at least 9.900 so far this season. Pfister, who landed a 9.900 on vault in the Jan. 23 dual meet versus Kent State, is the only MAC student-athlete with multiple marks of 9.900-or-better on vault so far this season.

Pfister and the rest of the Ball State gymnastics team is scheduled to return to action Friday, when it travels to Utah State for a 9 p.m. ET (7 p.m. MT) tri-meet which also features Southern Utah.
