
Cardinals Open 2022 at Mid-American Challenge

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's golf team begins the 2022 portion of the schedule on Monday as the Cardinals travel to Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club for the Mid-American Challenge.
This tournament is different than most on the schedule as it is a match play format. Ball State opens the challenge against Eastern Michigan. Five golfers for each side will compete head-to-head.
Dylann Armstrong, Liz Kim, Morgan Lewis, Hadley Moritz, and Kiah Parrott will represent the Cardinals in Florida. Ball State is joined by host Bowling Green, Akron, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Morehead State, Northern Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, Western Illinois, and Western Michigan.
The Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club is a par-72, 6,069-yard course in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Central Michigan and Northern Illinois received a first-round bye as the Chippewas and Huskies are seeded No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
The challenge will last two days, and each team will play in four matches. The first round of matchups begins at 7:50 a.m. as two teams tee off from the first hole and 10th hole. BSU and EMU will tee up on the first hole, with the first pairing hitting the course at 8:25 a.m. Live Stats can be found here.
