Cardinals prepare for final tune-up before MAC Championships

Ball State takes aim at same location of conference championship
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State track and field team is slated to make its first of two consecutive trips to Kent, Ohio when it readies for the Doug Raymond National Qualifier, Feb. 11-12, at the Kent State Field House. The Cardinals return to the same venue for the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships, Feb. 24-26.
Competition this weekend begins with the high jump at 3:30 p.m. Friday and will conclude with the 4x800-meter relay at 7:20 p.m. Saturday's action opens with the triple jump at 10 a.m. and wraps up with the 4x400-meter relay at 4:25 p.m.
Admission is $10 each day for all spectators ages 5 and up. Doors will open one hour prior to the start of the meet.
Per University health protocols, a reminder that masks are required to be worn inside all campus buildings, including the Kent State Field House, regardless of vaccination status for all faculty, staff, and fans.
Ball State is coming off a successful meet at the Meyo Invitational last weekend which saw event wins by Charity Griffith (high jump) and MaQuila Norman (200-meter dash).
