Women’s Tennis Closes Out Fall Play at Green and White Dual

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Ball State women's tennis team closes its fall play this weekend at the Green and White Dual competition at Michigan State.
Ball State posted four wins in singles action today. Emma Peeler tallied a straight set defeat against Butler's Delaney Schurhamer, 6-4, 6-2.
Annika Planinsek took down Butler's Chase Metcalf in a three-set thriller, 6-7, 6-2, 6-2. Elena Malykh also won in two frames versus the Bulldog's Norah Balthazor, 6-1, 7-6 and teammate Jaqueline Pearsall rounded out the wins after pulling off the 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 upset over Butler's Veronica Bruetting.
In doubles, Jessica Braun alongside Emily Desai found success against host Michigan State after beating the Spartans' Marley Lambert and Nicole Conrad, 6-1.
The Ball State women's tennis team continues action at the Green and White Dual Saturday.
