Ball State readies for NCAA Great Lakes Regional

Cardinals run 6k race Friday at 10 a.m. ET
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State cross country team is set to compete at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Friday, Nov. 11. Hosted by Indiana State at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, the 6k race is set to begin at 10 a.m. ET.
The centerpiece of the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course will host its seventh NCAA Great Lakes Regional, as Indiana State previously hosted in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2017 and 2018.
For spectators, there is a $5 admission fee for parking that will be collected at the gate.
The Cardinals are joined in the 33-team field by Akron, Bowling Green, Butler, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Cleveland State, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Michigan, Green Bay, Indiana, Indiana State, IUPUI, Kent State, Marquette, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Milwaukee, Notre Dame, Oakland, Ohio, Ohio State, Purdue, Purdue Fort Wayne, Toledo, Valparaiso, Western Michigan, Wisconsin, Wright State, Xavier and Youngstown State.
Ball State recently placed ninth at the Mid-American Conference Championships which saw multiple Cardinals earn personal-best times in the annual 6k event.
