October 06, 2022 | Soccer
Ball State scored six goals for the first time since August 23, 2019. The Cardinals improved to 5-3-4 overall and 4-0-1 in MAC competition, while the Rockets fell to 1-7-4 overall and 0-3-2 in conference play.
"Great job by the ladies tonight," said Head Coach Josh Rife. "It's always nice to get contributions from so many people. There are a lot of things that we can build on moving forward and I hope we keep the momentum going."
Avery Fenchel now has 10 goals on the season and is tied for the second-most goals in BSU history. The current leader, Kate Nadalin (2003), has 13 goals. Fenchel's 20 points on the season has her tied for fifth in program history.
