Cardinals Host Zips, Travel to Bobcats

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State soccer team returns to the pitch on Thursday, Oct. 13, with a home contest against Akron, followed by a road matchup with Ohio on Sunday, Oct. 16. The Cardinals will play a Pink Game at home against Akron and fans and spectators are encouraged to wear pink.
Last Time Out
Ball State went 1-1 last week after the Cardinals dropped their first Mid-American Conference match of the season. BSU enters the week with an overall record of 5-4-4 and a 4-1-1 mark in MAC play. Avery Fenchel led the way with two goals in BSU's 6-2 victory at Toledo. Delaney Caldwell, Lexi Fraley, Maria Broering, and Emily Roper each added a goal. Caldwell, Fraley, Jenna Dombrowski, and Lexy Smith each added an assist.
Season Leaders
The Cardinals are led by Fenchel with 10 goals, which is second in the MAC and tied for 12th in the NCAA. Caldwell is second on the team with five goals, while Fraley has three goals.
