Behrman and Kaplan Earn MAC Doubles Team of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team opened its 2022 season last weekend with a 7-0 sweep over Eastern Illinois. For its success, the Cardinals earned the first Mid-American Conference Doubles Team of the week honors as the league office announced that Isabelle Behrman and Amy Kaplan were the recipients this week.

The No. 3 duo of Kaplan and Behrman were the first twosome off the court Saturday against Eastern Illinois. The twosome registered a 6-2 win over the Panthers doubles tandem of Lauren Ellis and Kaitlyn Snyder.

Kaplan and Behrman helped the Cardinals capture the doubles point over EIU and later earn the 7-0 sweep over the Panthers.

The Ball State women's tennis team returns to the court Sunday against Butler at 1:30 p.m. ET at the Muncie Northwest YMCA.
