MUNCIE, Ind. - - After starting the year with three matches on the road, Ball State soccer will get its first taste of home cooking Sunday when it welcomes Purdue Fort Wayne to the Briner Sports Complex for its home opener at 1 p.m.
Â
The Cardinals (1-2-0) enter the contest looking to rebound from a pair of tough losses, the latest being a 2-1 setback Thursday night at Cincinnati. Â
The goal came courtesy of a header in the 87' from senior Kennedy Metzger, who also logged BSU's first shot on goal in the contest in the 66'. She is the fifth different goal scorer for Ball State this season.
