Ball State travels to Notre Dame for third meet of the season
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State cross country team is set to hit course Friday when it travels to Notre Dame, Ind. for the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational.
With over 50 teams set to compete, the meet has been broken up into multiple races. The Cardinals are slated to compete in the Gold Race at 1:30 p.m. ET. Members of Ball State are also scheduled to take part of the Open Race at 12 p.m. ET.
Lining up in the Gold Race alongside Ball State are Akron, Auburn, California Baptist, Central Michigan, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Clemson, Dayton, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Indiana State, IUPUI, Kennesaw State, Kent State, Northern Illinois, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Southern Illinois, Southern Miss, UIC, Western Michigan and Youngstown State.
The Cardinals are coming off a pair of top-three finishes as a team in their first two meets of the 2021 campaign after taking second at the Butler Twilight and third at the John McNichols Invitational.
