MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State soccer team returns to the pitch for the Mid-American Conference opener against Eastern Michigan on Thursday from the Briner Sports Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start.
The Cardinals enter the contest with a 2-4 record, while the Eagles enter with a 1-5-1 mark. Ball State comes into Thursday's match with a 14-8-2 record against Eastern Michigan and is 7-4-1 on matches played at the Briner Sports Complex. BSU has won the last three meetings, including a 2-1 victory in Muncie in the last contest.
Nicky Potts and Chelcy Ralph are tied for the team lead with four points as they each have recorded two goals.
