August 12, 2021 | Football
MOBILE, Ala. - - Six members of the Ball State football team were selected to the watch list for the Reese's Senior Bowl, the nation's most prestigious college all-star game.
Representing the Cardinals on the watch list were Bryce Cosby, Anthony Ekpe, Justin Hall, Brandon Martin, Drew Plitt, and Yo'Heinz Tyler.
Ball State's six selections were twice as many as any other Mid-American Conference program, with Buffalo and Central Michigan receiving three each. Overall, 19 MAC players were named to the watch list.
The Reese's Senior Bowl annually serves as the first step of the NFL Draft process, with 106 total players drafted and 36 selected in the first three rounds among last season's invited athletes in the most recent NFL Draft.
This year's game will be held February 5, 2022 and broadcast on the NFL Network. Practices will be live on ESPN and NFL Network hosts a daily recap show each evening in primetime.
